Dan joined UKIFS as Chief Commercial Officer in July 2025 and brings extensive commercial experience from leading the development and delivery of the Royal Navy fleet as Director of Ships Acquisition. In 2020 he was awarded an OBE for services to Defence Procurement. He holds an MSc from Cranfield University and an Executive MBA from the University of Oxford.
Dan leads UKIFS’ work to establish a successful commercial fusion sector in the UK, and to drive wider national economic benefit from the STEP Programme.
